Northman F&B didn’t begin with a perfect plan or polished blueprint. Like many things in New England, it was built step by step — through hard work, long days, and a belief that if you keep showing up, progress follows.
I grew up here in New England, shaped by a culture that values resilience, accountability, and perseverance. Life doesn’t always hand you a clear path, and my early years included challenges that forced me to reassess who I wanted to become. Choosing recovery became a turning point — one that taught discipline, humility, and the importance of showing up consistently, even when the work is uncomfortable. Those lessons still guide how I lead today.
Food became the vehicle for rebuilding. What started as learning the craft and working through kitchens eventually grew into Wicked Tasty — first as a food truck serving events across the region, then expanding into catering, café operations, and seasonal hospitality concepts. Over time, it became clear that what we were building was bigger than any single location.
Northman F&B Co. emerged as the framework to bring those divisions together under one vision. The name comes from my family name, Norris — meaning “man of the north” — and reflects the spirit that defines both our region and our company: endure the storms, take pride in your work, and keep moving forward.
Today, Northman F&B brings together the Wicked Tasty family of concepts — Food Truck, Catering, Café, Skiway, and Bar operations — unified by a shared purpose: serve great food with integrity, create meaningful experiences, and build a workplace rooted in respect, growth, and genuine hospitality.
A core part of Northman’s mission is creating opportunity. I know firsthand how powerful it is when someone offers a chance, believes in your potential, or simply welcomes you in. My goal is to build a company where people can grow — professionally and personally — and where hard work, accountability, and support exist side by side.
Northman isn’t just a business name. It represents the values that shaped me and the culture we’re building together: resilience, community, honesty, and the forward-thinking spirit that defines New England itself.
